The School of Medical Science of Shah Jalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet conducts the undergraduate medical course in accordance with the curriculum laid down by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. On successful completion of five years academic study, the university awards the: M. B. B. S. degree. The same university also awards the Post Graduation Degree like MD, MS, M.Phil and Diplomas in different specialties and sub-specialties. The School of Medical science functions through the committee of courses and studies & examination committee. The Dean of the school of medical sciences, appointed by the Vice Chancellor of Shah Jalal University of Science & Technology chairs the Executive Committee of the School of Medical Sciences .
