Medical science confers the mental, physical and social well being of mankind. As there is day to day change in every facet of the human civilization there is a regular impact in human health. The legal field of human health is a serious concern. In this connection medical ethics is a prime factor which has a great role in the overall health care system. The department of Forensic Medicine involves the study and application of medical knowledge in the legal field. Sylhet MAGOsmani Medical College has a resourceful forensic medicine department. It teaches the students about the application of the wide-ranging medical knowledge in the legal ground and the practice of medical ethics. The department is situated in the ground floor at the northern part.
