Pathology is the most important part of laboratory medicine. The Department of Pathology in this college is a complete teaching and clinical facility. It shares, half of the northern and north-west part of the same 1st floor, with microbiology. The location is very roomy and embraces all the academic and laboratory necessities. It supports a full academic curriculum for for both the undergraduate MBBS course and postgraduate MD (Pathology), FCPS (Histopathology) training and DLM (Diploma in Laboratory Medicine) courses as per Bangladesh Medical AND Dental Council (Government regulatory agency) approval. The undergraduate and postgraduate students, academic research and clinical pathology. The academic activity of this department run with a flawless continuity. From this department undergraduate students acquire the basic concept that enable them to understand any clinical cases with much ease. The academic facilities are capable of guiding a postgraduate student not only in achieving a degree but also in developing the appetite for latest knowledge. The research work is a constant activity with all its instrumental facilities in the department of pathology
